Endless Highway CD Review ~ All About Jazz
By Jerry D'Souza.  Saxophonist Tom Braxton's music has been called "smooth jazz," which is somewhat unfortunate.  Yes, he is a smooth jazz artist, but he also has the foresight to assimilate soul, funk and R&B into his compositions.  In melding these forms he adds snap, crackle and drive, making the journey on his Endless Highway a highly enjoyable experience.  Full Review >>

Endless Highway CD Review ~ JazzTimes
By Susan Frances.  "Saxophonist Tom Braxton shows a fondness for blending R&B/soul grooves with smooth jazz ruminations on his latest recording Endless Highway from Pacific Coast Jazz Records.  The album draws attention to Braxton’s mellifluous tonality and easy flowing narrations as he displays multiple tiers to his talent as a composer, producer and arranger in addition to playing the piano, keyboards and flute on the recording.  When Braxton puts himself into his music he does so with everything he has.  His jovial mood in the tracks pumps positive vibes into the listener’s ears and puts one in a very bright state of being . . . Endless Highway radiates happiness in every track."  Full Review >>

By Ronald Jackson.  "Endless Highway . . . is packed with superior sax work that epitomizes the very essence and spirit of smooth jazz.  Braxton has an affinity for the whole spectrum of jazz . . . some of the silky runs, scale work, and feel often found in the world of straight-ahead jazz artists while keeping that smooth bounce prominently displayed.  Tom Braxton . . . clearly is a student of the 'fine china' of good jazz, and it's on full display here."  Full Review >>

Endless Highway CD Review ~ Midwest Record
